Welcome to Gathright Motorsports
Gathright Racing was formed in 2010 by Bryan Gathright for the purpose of training his son, Daniel Gathright, as a race car driver. Gathright Motorsports was incorporated in 2012 as a professional motorsports team. The first step is driving in the ARCA series to gain experience and recognition and step 2 is to move into the Nationwide series.
The ARCA Racing Series powered by Menards is an American stock car series, the premier division of the ARCA. It is considered a minor, but professional, league of stock car racing, perhaps two steps down from the top-level NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and one step down from that series' minor league, the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Though some events occur the same weekend as NASCAR events, the Series is in no way affiliated with NASCAR.
The Nationwide Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing. It is promoted as NASCAR's "minor league" circuit, and is a proving ground for drivers who wish to step up to the organization's "big leagues"; the Sprint Cup circuit. Nationwide Series races are frequently held in the same venue as, and a day prior to, the Sprint Cup race scheduled for that weekend, encouraging fans to attend both events.
